Data Unification and Quality
It integrates demographic and clinical data from existing information systems, demographic databases, Excel files, and other electronic sources. An algorithm then analyses this data to identify duplicates and consolidate information into a single patient record.
Sending Invitations
Select patients for monitoring over a defined period and send invitations by letter, email, or SMS with exam or sample collection details.
Resource Management
The system manages and allocates all resources, including mobile units, health units, staff, and equipment. For mobile units, their location and schedule of deployment are defined in the system.
Examination and/or sample collection
Diagnostic equipment integrates with SiiMA Screening worklist, receiving patient data, reducing data entry errors and improving professional productivity. Examinations and samples are sent to the relevant entities responsible for diagnosis and reporting (laboratories, hospitals, etc.
Results and Reports
Results and reports are accessible in SiiMA Rastreios.
Negative result: The participant is informed that the result is normal.
Positive result: The participant is referred for specialist assessment. All subsequent care and outcomes are recorded in the system to ensure continuity of care and follow-up.
The results and reports are made available in SiiMA Rastreios and are accessible to clinical teams.
• Negative Result: Information is sent to the user informing them that the result was normal, and other information may be added, such as, "keep your address up to date to receive new screening invitations".
• Positive Result: The system refers the user to a specialist appointment. All treatments and results (tests, appointments, biopsies, surgery, others) are recorded in the system for future reference and for better follow-up of the user.
New Cycle
The cycle of re-inviting previously screened participants is repeated in accordance with screening policies. Depending on the treatment or surgery, the participant may or may not re-enter the screening cycle.
The cycle of re-inviting already screened patients is repeated according to the screening policy defined by the Responsible Entity.
Depending on the treatment / surgery, the patient may or may not return to the screening cycle in accordance with the implemented screening policy.
