The largest Radiology congress in Europe, ECR, took place in Vienna, Austria, between 4 and 8 March, and First made its presence felt, being the only Portuguese exhibitor at the event and showcasing the very best in healthcare information systems!

In Vienna we demonstrated two solutions focused on Radiology: SiiMA RIS, an information system that manages the entire workflow of a radiology service, from requesting an examination appointment to making the medical report available, and Mytelerad, a new product for the teleradiology field and officially presented in Vienna. MyTelerad is an information system that allows the radiologist to create their own business, client network and manage all requests and report generation anytime, anywhere, in a completely autonomous way. It is expected that this solution will, in the medium term, have a prominent position in the global teleradiology market.

For Filipe Pereira, Administrator at First, this participation “marks a very important step in strengthening the Group's image and positioning beyond borders”.

According to the Administrator, the outcome of participating in ECR “is extremely positive, as it enabled the opening of new commercial channels to explore, as well as the generation of some leads that will now be followed up” and, in addition, it also served to “confirm the global market's interest in First's solutions.”
