At ULSM – Unidade Local de Saúde de Matosinhos, the migration of the electronic Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures (DTP) prescribing system to SiiMA Vision marked an important step in the institution’s digital transformation journey. Replacing the former HCIS platform, SiiMA Vision now provides a modern and fully integrated solution across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

A key achievement of the project was the implementation of automatic bidirectional integration with the remaining ULS systems, enabling seamless communication between prescribing and executing services. This new level of interactivity streamlined workflows, reduced administrative barriers, and improved operational efficiency.

The integration between prescribing and scheduling functionalities also accelerated response times and simplified critical processes, allowing healthcare professionals to focus more directly on patient care.
