Zonadvanced, a First Group company, specialized in solutions for telecommunications and video communications, has recently established an agreement with norwegian Ceelab for distribution of video conferencing products in the portuguese market. "This agreement allows Ceelab sales of its solutions in Portugal, adapted to every need and with all the guarantees of service and local support for the development of a partners network, through Zonadvanced," said the head of the Iberian Ceelab, Ignacio Hernandez.
The Ceelab is one of the four largest manufacturers of video conferencing solutions in the European market and hopes to reach third place world ranking in this area next year. The Norwegian company sells in Europe HD video conferencing solutions from Sony, through the Arrow product line.
The videoconferencing system is a product of Ceelab suited to current market price and quality needs, when compared with other manufacturers, and these were the main factors that led to Zonadvanced on the distribution of this brand, which has a complete offering, from videoconferencing endpoints, to the infrastructure solutions (multiconference HD), and client software HD. "In the current situation of economic recession, the market demand for more economical solutions but with the technological level guarantees, which meets the Ceelab offer. To be more competitive in price compared to all other competitors and do not put in question a good quality video and audio in addition to product quality, allow companies to address the communication between employees, suppliers or customers in ways that until recently long ago were available only to a limited group of entities. I also believe that these solutions will bring direct savings to these companies", says Nuno Carvalho, Zonadvanced member of the borad.
The Portuguese company will not distribute directly to the final customer. These products will be available in the market through a network of partners from different segments. Zonadvanced seeks to expand this network in Portugal, to cover the entire territory. Apart from distribution, the company will provide support services (installation and support 24 hours a day) which represents an added value for its partners.
